About The Bible:
We hold to the fundamental view of the Bible: “The Bible is the only God-given authority which man possesses; therefore all doctrine, faith, hope, and all instructions for the church must be based upon and harmonize with the Bible” (UPCI Manual, page 19). The Bible is the Word of God, and is therefore infallible and inerrant. We reject all “extrabiblical” revelations and writings, and view church creeds and articles of faith only as the thinking of man. Anything outside of the Bible is subject to error! The Bible is the inspired Word of God, giving a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity and containing a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of humanity. Moreover, there is no salvation outside of what is taught in its pages..

 About God:
While yet fully God, Jesus was also fully man, possessing a full and true humanity. He was supernaturally God and man. Moreover, God’s holy Spirit is God WITH us and IN us. Henceforth, God is manifested as Father in Creation, and as The Father of the Son, in the Son of our Redemption, and as The Holy Spirit in our regeneration. “For in him (the man Jesus) dwelleth the fullness of the godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:9)

About Water Baptism:
According to every Biblical account, Baptism was always performed in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2, Acts 4, Acts 8, Acts 10) Matthew 28:19 confirms this great truth …”baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Ghost.” 1 John 5:7 states “these three are one.” (NOT “in” one) Verse 6 identifies the identity of this One God, it is Jesus Christ. The literal word “baptism” when translated from the biblical Greek is baptizo - which literally means immerse, to dip under, to plunge. Nowhere in scripture is rantizo - to sprinkle ever found!

About Holy Spirit Infilling:
Coupled with Water Baptism, according to biblical accounts Holy Spirit Infilling was received and witnessed by the evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:1-4, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 19:1-6) Speaking in tongues is a supernatural yet physical miracle that verifies to the believer, without a doubt, that they have received the Spirit of ChristActs 8:12-18, is the only account that does not specifically state that they “spoke in tongues.” However, there is a very strong indication that they did see a physical and supernatural miracle, i.e. speaking with tongues, verses 17 & 18 says that Simon SAW through laying on of the apostles hands the Holy Ghost was given.

About Godly Living:
In ancient times, as throughout many countries today, a person’s social rank could be determined by his dress. Likewise, dress is a significant measurement of Christian practice and conduct. Christians are often identified as such simply by their outward appearance. Since we adhere as closely and carefully to the Word of God as possible in matters concerning salvation, we also measure the standards of Christian practicalities such as clothing, by the same statute..

About Worship:
If you have never had the opportunity to witness a Spirit-filled service, you will discover that many Biblical expressions of worship are still experienced in our day. Such as praying together aloud (Acts 4:24), Singing aloud (Psalm 98:4), Clapping of our hands & shouting (Psalm 47:1), Musical Instrumentation (2 Samuel 6:5), Lifting up hands (Psalm 134:2), Testifying Publicly (Psalm 22:22), Anointing with oil (James 5:14), Dancing before the Lord (Psalm 150:4), Operation of Spiritual Gifts (1 Corinthians 14:26).
